alert to Rescue Centre or Guard
house
- Worn by each of the workers, an
intrinsically safe level 1 or ATEX
approved, Man Overboard Alerting
Unit
- Fitted to the Fast Rescue Craft
and each support vessel a SARfinder®
MKII Man Overboard Locating Unit
- Worn by each of the Fast Rescue
Craft crew an intrinsically safe
level 1 or ATEX approved, Man
Overboard Alerting Unit
(preferably fitted into a

- Recommend a propagation test to
ensure 100% coverage of jetty/wharf

– Helicopter Transit
|
To provide
effective Man Overboard cover for crews
in helicopter transit we recommend the
following configuration of Sea Marshall®
equipment:
- Each crewmember is issued with
an ATEX approved Man Overboard
Alerting unit before entering the
aircraft. The Alerting Unit could be
fitted into a life vest.
