Micropur kills germs & harmful bacteria in particle free, clear water on the basis of silver ions, naturally and environmentally safe, without additional chemicals like chlorine and iodine. The water will therefore keep its original fresh taste. At the same time Micropur preserves the water; it will stay germ free for 6 months. The quantity of silver absorbed when consuming water treated with Micropur is within European drinking water regulations and is less than when eating from silver cutlery.
Micropur should only be used in clear water. Micropur should be in contact with the water for 2 hours before drinking. Contrary to chlorine and iodine based treatments, Micropur has no longterm effect to human health. Silver is completely harmless to your health. Micropur binds silver with the crystal structure of natrium-chloride and is available as tablets, crystals, and liquid. Micropur releases silver ions in the water which penetrate the surface of bacteria to kill its nucleus. The vital life function of the bacteria are blocked and it will die. Micropur is EPA registered (#39444-x) for water preservative based on silver ions.
For individual and business travellers Micropur is the ideal
travelling partner. Micropur keeps storage tanks and water systems (boats, RVs, cisterns, etc) free of algae and slimy build-up. In concentrated dosage it can be used as a disinfectant. It has a shelf-life of ten years for the crystal form, and five years for the liquid. |
